- care and maintenance of marble
Marble is a delicate and esteemed material that requires constant care and cleaning. Although it is highly resistant, the surface is easily scratched and marked if some basic rules are not followed.
Abrasive detergents, descalers and acid-based products should be avoided, as they may penetrate the pores of the stone and dull the surface.
To clean marble, use an abrasive sponge and warm water. You can also add a drop of neutral detergent for a deeper clean. To preserve the surface lustre over time, always dry thoroughly with a soft cloth.
